IBM Hard Drive Test Fixture

The following is a preliminary, non-binding estimate for a test fixture to accommodate 3.5" SAS drives (a separate document will cover a similar fixture for 2.5" drives).  Further analysis and details are required for a  "formal" quotation.   Enclosure design estimates are based on the design of a medium complexity enclosure that would provide a professional "look and feel".    Enclosure "per piece" prices are based on low-quantity orders that have recently been placed for similar rack mount enclosures.  Such items have had a cost in the range of  $400.00 ea. ($200.00 for the chassis, $200.00 for the cover).

• Qty 20 top covers @ $200.00 ea., 1.2 mm Cold Rolled Steel, Zinc Plated, Powder Coat Black
• Qty 20 Base Chassis @ $200.00 ea., 1.2 mm Cold Rolled Steel, Zinc Plated (Base chassis not to exceed 2 internal brackets)
3. $1,000.00  - Wiring, switches, & misc. parts
