Information for additional foam layer to be placed in top of 9001XB4CASE

Adapticom proposes to add an additional 3/4" layer of foam to the top
of the XB4 case. The existing 1/2" of foam is insufficient to
keep the lower profile parts in place during shipping and handling.
The addition of a second layer in a thickness of 3/4" will prevent the
low profile parts from leaving their foam cavities in the base (see the

Items "C", "A4", and "D3" in the image below (9001XB4CASE-Foam2-tn.jpg) have a high profile.
As a result, there will be three cavities placed in the foam of the
new layer in the top to allow clearance for these three
components.
These three cavites will consist of a round cavity 2" in diameter and 3/4" deep
to accommodate "C". The other two items have keys inserted in
them and will receive 1.25" x 0.5" vertical slots to accommodate the
keys.
