Successful designs using Actel 1280's & 1460's with Viewlogic, Valid, & Orcad from both Unix and Dos based platforms. Expertise in issues such as pipelined synchronous designs, combinatorial logic, clock skew, ground bounce, termination, crosstalk and ringing control, as well as critical component placement and routing. Intimate knowledge of Intel P6 and Pentium architecture, including "local bus" characteristics. Experienced in the use and development of custom tools including data collection hardware, Maximum Strategy high speed disk arrays, and high speed communication subsystems utilizing the HIPPI interface for tracing microprocessor and bus activity during performance studies. Software experience with "C" in both AIX/Unix and Dos environments.
