The image dates began on July 28, 2007, apparently on a white water rafting trip from High Mountain Expeditions, 1380 Hwy 105S- Boone, North Carolina.
From the license plates, the obvious conclusion is that the owners are from New Jersey.
The camera itself had both the lens & LCD display on the back cracked as if it had been run-over, but we were able to rescue the 2 gig memory card and retrieve the images and movies below:
